Michelle Lewis, LCSW, CHT
Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Hypnotherapist
I have been working in the mental health field since 2001. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Weber State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. I have spent my career working with adolescents and adults in a variety of treatment settings. I have treated a variety of emotional issues, but love working in wellness! I started this career path as a health and wellness coach helping clients achieve their health goals. My goal is to provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment to promote healing. My approach is nonjudgmental to help you feel at ease, understood, respected and hopeful. I am passionate and enthusiastic about my work to help others achieve wellness. To provide holistic care, I coordinate with dietitians, fitness professionals and other medical professionals.
I have been a contributing expert for GoodTherapy.org writing articles about weight loss, motivation and self care. I have written a chapter in a book titled Breaking Free: Overcoming Self-Sabotage and had several television and radio interviews on stress management, emotional eating and Binge Eating Disorder.
When I’m not working, I enjoy cycling, cooking, hiking, traveling and spending time with my husband, dog and son!
